Clayton, Ill., Dec. 30 -- Funeral services for Rollin Alford, retired farmer, who died at his home in this city Tuesday morning, will be held from the Baptist church at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Reverend Brainerd Brown. Burial will be in the South Side cemetery.

Mr. Alford had been in failing health for several years, and had just recently returned from California.

He was born near Kinderhook, but had resided in Clayton for many years.

Surviving him are: his widow; two sons, Henry and Ralph, of near Clayton; two daughters: Mrs. John May, Clayton; and Mrs. Letha Reily of California.
