LATROBE - On July 28, 1917, at Flushing, N.Y., ELIZA, in her 82d year, widow of Col. Osmun Latrobe, of Baltimore.

Funeral will take place this Tuesday, July 31. Interment (private) from the chapel in Greenmount Cemetery.

The body of Mrs. Eliza Latrobe, widow of Col. Osman Latrobe, a brother of the late Mayor Ferdinand C. Latrobe, who died Sunday at Flushing, L. I. arrived late yesterday afternoon to the funeral parlor of Henry W. Jenkins & Sons. From there it will be buried this afternoon from the chapel in Greenmount Cemetery. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Latrobe was 82 years old and her death was due to the infirmities of age. Col. Osmun Latrobe, Mrs. Latrobe's husband, died about a year ago. He was a distinguished veteran of the Civil War, and also a prominent attorney here in later years. He was also connected the late Ross Winans when the latter was building the government railroad in Russia and Siberia. Mrs. Latrobe was a Miss Dana, of New York, and was married to Colonel Latrobe in London in 1871.She was an aunt of Mrs. J. Swann Frick, of this city. No direct descendants survive.
