Dean Cook
Services for Dean Cook, 41, of Port Arthur, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Port Arthur with the Rev. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. Monday at Chambers Cemetery in Palestine under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Burleson officiating.
Mr. Cook died Thursday at Doctors Hospital in Groves.
He was born in Palestine.
Mr. Cook lived in Port Arthur for the last 20 years. He was an assistant manager for Golden Triangle Courier Service. He was a member of Bethel Temple Full Gospel. He was a former music director. He was a founder and organizer of Jesus Fest-Pleasure Island.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy George Cook of Port Arthur; mother, Helen Cook of Palestine; son, Adam Cook of Port Arthur; daughter, Ashley Cook of Port Arthur; and brother, Joe Bob Cook of Palestine.
