Connie A. Anderson, 87 of Greenville died Wednesday at 4 a.m. in a local hospital.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Mansen officiating.

Born Feb. 28, 1896 in Greenville, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Sam R. and Bama Jane Pickens. She was married in 1923 to Dee Ford and he preceded her in death. Later she was married to Charlie Anderson and he also preceded her in death. Mrs. Anderson was a retired practical nurse and a member of Central Christian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Nell Hunter of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nota Pickens of Greenville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, Bama Hopkins and Peggy Carter.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
