Dennis Ray Shockley, 57, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born January 17, 1960, to Junior and Mary Bridges Shockley. He worked for Plumrose and later FMC. He enjoyed fishing, mowing yards, NASCAR, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Cain’s Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Shockley; two daughters, Angie Moore (Chris) and Lindsey Perez (Juan); a son, T.J. Shockley (Candy); his mother, Mary Shockley; two sisters, Pat Shockley and Melissa Shockley (Keith); nine grandchildren, Bruce, Greyson, Madi, Presley, Marli, Audri, Bentley, Gavin, and Brannon; and two great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, Korbin and Kolsyn.
He was preceded in death by his father; one granddaughter, Jordan Williams; and his grandparents, Avil Kitchens and Fletcher Shockley.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Shockley, Luke Ledbetter, Terry Warren, Bruce Williams, Keith Stanford, and Ronnie Barnes. Honorary pallbearer will be Bentley Perez.
