Ola was born in Seville, Wilcox County, Georgia to William Owens and Elizabeth Ambrose Owens on November 19, 1903. She moved with her parents from Georgia to Miami 41 years ago.
Ola married Lemuel Miller on 16 April 1921 Miami, Dade, Florida, She was a retired housewife.
Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her parents, one brother, John Benjamin Owens in 1908 and a sister, Elsie Lee Owens, 1910.
Survivors include the husband at home, three sons: William Lemuel Miller, Robert Earl Miller, and Emmett Roland Miller; and one daughter, Nora Elmira Miller Healy, one brother, William Henry Owens, and three sisters: Addie Mae Owens Johns, Ruby Hazel Owens Adams, and Mildred Ruth Owens Lane.
Burial on October 8, 1952 at the Flagler Mausoleum.

Mrs. Ola Gertrude Miller, 48, of 653 NW 30th Street, a resident of Miami for 41 years, died yesterday. She came here as a child from Seville, Georgia.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; three sons, William L., Robert E., and E. Roland; two daughters, Mrs. Nola Healey and Miss Sylvia Miller; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Johns, Mrs. Hazel Adams, and Mrs. Ruth Lane; a brother, Henry Owens and 10 grandchildren.
She was a member off the Stanton Memorial Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Bess Funerral Home.
