A member of MacArthur Boulevard Christian Church, homemaker Meva May Wilson, 97, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, at a local nursing home.
Born March 26, 1898, in Olney, Ill., she moved to the Camas/Washougal area in 1930.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Grandmother's Club of Washington, and she enjoyed playing pinochle.
She is survived by two daughters, Clara Pettit of Vancouver and Betty Hvizdak of Brier, Wash.; a brother, Jack Baker of Stockton, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
