William H. Bosley, member of he banking firm of John S. Gittings & Co., and an active business man of Baltimore, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 1403 Park avenue, after having been in ill health for a number of years. Death was due to hardening of the arteries.

Mr. Bosley was a member of an old Baltimore county , who came from England during the Colonial days. his grandfather was John Bosley, owner of the celebrated Beaver Dam marble quarries, near Cockeysville, Baltimore county, which furnished a good portion of the marble for the early public buildings in Baltimore and Washington. His father was John Bosley, a prominent citizen of Baltimore county, ... Mr. Bosley's mother was Rachel Harryman Cole, a connection of Gen. Mordecai Giat.

A widow, who was Miss Mary E. Cockey; one daughter, Marie E., wife of Dr. Willis Manges, a Philadelphia physician, and four sons, Capt. John R. Bosley, a surgeon in the United States Army; William H Bosley, Jr., a lumber salesman; Chancey B. Bosley, a bond broker, and Harryman G. Bosley, survive. Mr. Bosley had two grandsons.



Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
