Nita Clarice (Aston) Nash ( NeNe ) passed from this life and into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday Nov. 8, 2017 in Little Rock , Arkansas at the age of 55.
Nita was born on June 12, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Willie (Bill) and Juanita Aston. The family moved to Talco, Tx when Nita was 10. She attended church at The Calvary Baptist Church and attended Talco School and Rivercrest High School where she graduated in 1980.
She married Tim Nash Dec. 7, 2001 in Benton, Arkansas where they made their home.
Nita was a loving Mother to Alissa Rae Nash. Her greatest Joy and accomplishment in life was raising her daughter.
She was a retired Chef specializing in Meringue and Cream Pies. Nita won many awards in Arkansas including " Best Pie Maker in Arkansas" 3 years in a row and " Best in the County " numerous times. Other than her fantastic cooking Nita will be remembered for her great sense of humor, quick wit, sparkling eyes, her smile and her resounding laughter. She was a true and faithful friend to many who mourn her passing.
Preceded in death by her parents Bill and Juanita Aston of Talco, her Infant Son William Widemon of Clute Texas. Her Sister Dorothy Aston of Houston, Grandparents Calvin ( Pete) and Clarice ( Nanny ) Anglin of Talco, James Earl and Ethel Aston of Randolph , Mississippi.
Surviving is her Husband, and daughter, Tim and Alissa Nash of Benton, Arkansas. Her mother in law Bettye Nash also of Benton. Her Sister Kathy Aston Gandy of Dallas, Tx. Her Brother, Billy Aston of Houston, Tx. Her Step Son Tim Nash Jr of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. She leaves behind a host of relatives, classmates and friends to cherish her memory
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 18th In Benton Arkansas at the Apostolic Church and another service on Saturday November 25th at 11 am at the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco.
She will be laid to rest between her parents in the DeShields Cemetery in Titus County Texas.
