Stanley R. Adydan, 63, of E. Syracuse died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, November 15. Stan was born at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School and attended Onondaga Community College before graduating from Simmons School of Mortuary Science. He was employed by and operated Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home for many years. Stan was an avid reader, scuba diver and military buff. He was a member and Past President of the E. Syracuse Lions Club. Stan was the chairperson of the E. Syracuse Board of Ethics and a member of both the Central New York and New York State Funeral Directors Associations. Stan is survived by his wife of 29 years former Roberta Lehman, a son Eric (Emily) Adydan, a brother Steve (Margaret) Adydan, sister-in-law Nancy Lehman, two nieces and several cousins. The family wishes to thank the Dr's and nurses at Crouse Hospital ICU for the compassionate care shown. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am Monday in St. Matthews Church, E. Syracuse. Burial in St Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling Hours: 3-7 pm Sunday at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., E. Syracuse. Contribution to the Humane Society of CNY.
