MRS. ELMER R. BOONE
Mrs. Myrtle Viola Boone, wife of Elmer R. Boone, Walkersville, died at the Frederick City Hospital Wednesday [21st] afternoon at 4.05 o'clock. She was aged 42. Her death came as a shock to her family and friends since she had been reported as improving following an operation.
She was a daughter of W. E. [William Eldridge] and Edna Idella Morgan Haines of Walkersville and a member of the Mt. Vernon U.B. Church of Daysville. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by one son, Russell L. Boone of Frederick, one sister, Mrs. Mary Schultz, Walkersville, and five brothers, Wilson E. Haines, Rockville; Emory G. Haines, near Frederick; Raymond C. Haines, Taneytown; corp. Leroy W. Haines, overseas; Harry Haines, New River, N.C.
Body will be taken to the home of the parents in Walkersville, this evening at 7 o'clock, from where the funeral will take place Friday afternoon [23rd] at 2 o'clock with services at the United Brethren Church, Walkersville. Interment in Union Chapel Cemetery, Daysville, G.C. Barton, funeral director.
