She retired from Bank One in 1995 where she had worked in the Education Loan Department. Imogene was the Matriarch of the Portage Church of God of Prophecy
She is survived by two sons, Robby D. (Kathy) Benedyk of NC; Preston J. (Patty) Benedyk of Panama City, FL; one daughter, Tedgena K. (Richard) Stoops of Hobart, IN; seven grandchildren, Colin Stoops, Amanda (Josh) Hunt, Joshua Benedyk, Katie Benedyk, Emma Benedyk, Matthew Benedyk, Anna Benedyk, one great-grandson, Logan Hunt, two special children in love, Margaret Howe, and Pat (Lewis) Rapo, 18 nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Benedyk, two sisters, Velma Hennings, Agnes Burris, and one brother, Leonard LaCoss.
