Rosie I. Adkins, 80, entered into heaven Sunday, March 18, 2007. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 at Park Lawn
Chapel, Kansas City, Missouri.

Rosie was born July 24, 1926 in Adrian, MO to Emmett C. and Lucy Opal(Pulliam)Nelson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rosie Adkins Education Fund for her grandchildren c/o Capitol Federal Savings, 2100 E. 151st Street, Olathe, KS
66062.

She leaves behind her husband Dene Adkins of the home; daughter, Rebecca Adkins Boone of Indianapolis, IN;
son, Mark Adkins and wife Janice, of Raymore, MO; a sister,
Letha Koontz and husband Jack, Kansas City; 7 grandchildren, Shannon, Jeffery, Spencer, Oliva, Vanessa Boone, Kascee and Jacob Meireis.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Toomay. Rosie will always be remembered for her love for her family and her home. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
