James Herbert Worrell of 4801 Randall Drive, died early Thursday morning in the Columbus County Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident near Delco, N C. He was born in Wilmington, N C September 21, 1954, the son of Florenz D and Mary Frances Davis Worrell. Jimmy was a member of the Winter Park Baptist Church, and was graduated form New Hanover High School in the class of 1973, was co-captain of the football and track team for 1972-1973. He was a member of the Cape Fear Rugby Team. Surviving are his parents, a sister, Miss Laurie Anne Worrell of the home, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James H Davis of Wilmington, maternal Aunt Margaret (Davis) Kelly and husband Frank; and cousins Beth and Donna Kelly. Graveside funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a. m. in Oleander Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Douglas Farmer and Rev. Silas B Aldridge officiating. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Cape Fear Rugby Team.
