MUSCODA - Kenneth L. Powell, age 78, of Muscoda, died on Friday, June 9, 1989, in the Memorial Nursing Home in Boscobel. He was born on March 27, 1911, at West Fork, in Crawford County, the son of Thomas and Adona (Toney) Powell. He farmed in Crawford County for many years and retired after working 13 years in the maintenance department of the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He Is survived by a son, Robert (Veda) Powell of Onalaska; two daughters, Joyce (Floyd) Bradley of Madison, and Janet Jones of Madison; three sisters, Rose Powell and Mary Alerlei, both of Madison, and Norma Moron of Boscobel; a brother, Milford "Bill" (Leona) Powell of Route 2, Govs Mills; seven grandchildren, Teresa Mueller, Carey (Barbara) Jones, Carmen (Jones) Rosynek, Rusty (Jody) Jones, James (Jan) Bradley, Jerry Bradley, and Connie (Bill) Paisley; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Powell, in 1936; two sisters, Naomi Weiss, and Nellie Longmire; three brothers, Roy, Hurl, and Harley; and his parents. His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 10, at 2:00 P.m., at the GODAGER FUNERAL HOME, in Muscoda. Reverend David J. Hankins will officiate. Burial will be in the Muscoda Cemetery. The visitation will be at the GODAGER FUNERAL HOME, on Saturday, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
