On November 14, 2017, Ada F. Tynes at the age of 98 years was called to her heavenly home which fulfilled all her prayers. She was born on September 16, 1919 at Orr, Oklahoma to Earl and Artie Tynes.

She has one surviving sister, Peggy Henry and eight sisters and eight brothers who predeceased her. Ada was married to R.B. Cavner on September 15, 1937.

She is survived by Jerry Tinder and her husband Norwood, Ronald Cavner and his wife Edna, June Elisee, Larry Cavner and Dwight Cavner and his wife, Mary Beth. She was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Earl and a daughter, Ellen McCabe.

Grandchildren are Allen Tinder, Deborah Huckabaa, Lara McCollum, Neal Cavner Jr., Paula Tucker, Kenneth Cavner and Katie McCabe. Grandchildren that preceded her in death were Michael Cavner and Matthew Elisee. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Baum Assembly of God Church the majority of her life.

The family of Ada want to send their sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Joe Hamill and all the caregivers at Cross Timbers Hospice who made our mother’s last few years comfortable.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Brother Jimmy May officiating. Interment will follow at Young Cemetery.

Services under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore, Oklahoma.
