Georgia R. Gibbs, 91, of Crews died July 13, 2013. She was born July 6, 1922 in Coke County and grew up there. She married Connie H. Gibbs on August 16, 1941 in Ballinger and lived most of her life in Crews. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 children: Connie Mac Gibbs and wife Jean of Winters, Donnie Gibbs and wife Nancy of Menard and Lynda Delano and husband Mike of Gatesville. 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Connie H. Gibbs and 1 granddaughter Sherri Ford.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 16, 2013 at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Crews cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M. Monday July 15, 2013 at Winters Funeral Home.
