Agnes M. Conard Mathews, 86, passed away November 11. 2017. Visitation will be November 16, from 10-11am at Langsford Funeral Home. Services will be at 11am. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston, MO. Agnes was born October 3, 1931 in Kenna, New Mexico. She moved to Kansas City when she was 14 and later met and married Bobbie Dean Conard. They were married for 39 years until his passing in 1989. She married Frank Mathews and was married for 10 years until his passing in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Burk (1999) and Ruth Eunice Burk (2001), and one great-grandson, Carson James Conard (2008). She is survived by her sons, Gary (Kathy), Craig (Nancy), and son, Jack Conard; 4 grandchildren, Brad (Kristen), Dustin (Susan), and Dr. Cody Conard; and her only granddaughter, Brittney Conard. She was devoted to her grandchildren and they greatly loved her. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Caroline, Maisy, Miles, and Liam Mac. Agnes, Mom, Grandma Aggie, and GG was truly loved by all of her family and they were blessed to have her in their lives. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. She had wonderful friends, some who were life-long and amazing neighbors who all looked out for her. She was also blessed to have a loving church family that meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
