Mrs. Roy Baker, 59, 3115 Bushnell avenue, died in a hospital Wednesday after a long illness.

She was born October 3, 1884, at Winchester, Tenn. She had been a resident of Sioux City for the last 37 years and was married to Roy Baker at Elk Point, February 28, 1924. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Assembly of God Tabernacle.

Survivors include her widower, seven daughters, Mrs. William Kelly, Bassett, Neb., and Mrs. Vernie Ring, Mrs. Fred Archer, Mrs. Arnold Hansing, Mrs. Robert Miller, Mrs. Roy Farley and Mrs. Jens Hansen, all of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Julia Adams, Tallahoma, Tenn.; and two brothers, James and Louis Lackey, both of Tallahoma, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the W. Harry Christy chapel at Morningside. Rev. T. A. Hastie will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
