James O. Tabeling, 61, of 212 W. Esplanade Ave., died there Sunday. He was a native of Breckinridge County, a retired employee of General Electric Co., a Marine veteran and a member of National Rifle Association and St Thomas More Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Lucille French; two daughters, Diane Lundbom and Elizabeth Garrett; a brother, Henry Tabeling of Jasper, Ind.; and five grandchildren. . The body was donated to the University of Louisville School of Medicine. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Children's Hospital.
