1924 - 2017

Bob was born on July 28, 1924 to Wade and Bertha Enoch in Huntington Beach, CA. He served in the U.S. Army from March 18, 1943 until March 27, 1946. When he returned from the war, he was employed in the 'oil patch' as he liked to call it, until his retirement in 1980. Bob married the love of his life, Ruby Mae Lee, in 1960 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage with Ruby until her death in 2005. They enjoyed travelling and golfing together for many years.

After Ruby passed, Bob moved out to the ranch in Buttonwillow to live with his grandson, Jack Frey and his family. For the past 12 years, Bob has enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends at the Kern River Fly Fishing Club, Kern County Gun Club and the Buttonwillow Lions Club.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Enoch and daughter Claudia Lee Frey. He is survived by grandsons Michael Frey and wife Gina, Jack Frey and wife Kelie, Stephen Frey and wife Dr. Melissa Midzor-Frey, great grandsons Justin Frey, Nicholas Frey and Wade Frey, great granddaughters Madeline Frey, Meghan Midzor-Frey and Inara Midzor-Frey.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, November 17, 2017 at West Side Cemetery District, 440 E. Cedar Street, Taft, CA.

Reception to follow at the Willow Ranch in Buttonwillow at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, please send charitable donations to the Buttonwillow Lion's Club, PO Box 121, Buttonwillow, 93206 or the charity of your choice.
