News was received here yesterday of the death Sunday night of J.M. Billings, 82, formerly of Nashville, at his home in Orlando, Fla.
Born and reared in Nashville, Mr. Billings and his twin brother, James S. Billings, operated a cigar stand in the Tulane Hotel for many years. His brother died a number of years ago and he moved to Orlando 30 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katie Knox Billings, of Orlando, and several nieces and nephews of Nashville.
Funeral and burial were in Orlando yesterday.
