Akayla A. Cuffee CHESAPEAKE
On Jan. 15, 2007, God called for one of his beautiful angels, Akayla Avon Cuffee, to come home. She was born in Norfolk and was a medical assistant for Integrated Medical. Akayla graduated from Great Bridge High School and from Tidewater Tech with honors and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Chesapeake. She is survived by her husband, Darnell "Deeno" Covil of Chesapeake; her newborn son, Ahmad Deveontae; her loving parents, Ennis Cuffee Edge and Frederick Edge; one sister, Donielle Moore (John) of Chesapeake; half brother, Dalton Person of Chesapeake; paternal grandparents, Magnolia and Paul Edge; four aunts, eight uncles, mother-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bethany Baptist Church by Dr. Jake Manley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
