Nathaniel Munn and Sarah Chapin are Ben's parents. He married Rebecca Russell on 30 Dec 1731 and they became the parents of eight children:

"Benjamin Munn, b. 12th August, 1700; in 1715 the new settlement of Brimfield was opened up and he, Benjamin, together with ten others, became the original proprietors of the new township. In 1760 the part of Brimfield in which he Benjamin, resided was set apart as a township under the name of Monson. "on petition of Benjamin Munn, votes to abate the Highway rates of those Soldiers in the Continental service the year past." He M. 30th Dec. 1731, Rebecca Russell, dau. of John Russell and Rebecca Tidd Blodgett of Brimfield, Massachusetts."
