Frederick Dale Marshall, 71, of Wrightstown, N.J., died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at his residence, with his family by his side.
Born in Wayne, W. Va., Mr. Marshall had been a resident of Mansfield, Ohio, before moving to his son's residence in January. Frederick was a graduate of the University of Akron with a degree in finance. He was a retired tax accountant for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services and had also worked for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1966 as a first lieutenant.
Preceded in death by his parents, Preston T. and Eddie Marshall; sister, Ruth Ellen Sammons; son, David Lane Marshall; and grandson, Christian Chul Yi Marshall.
Graveside services and burial Monday, 1 p.m., at Rittman Cemetery, with Pastor Robin Hart officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Firestone VFW Post 3383. Published in the Akron Beacon Journal from 3/18/2006 - 3/19/2006.
