"Loa Bateman Uremovich, our kind and gentle mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away on Feb. 14, 2007, at the age of 86. She was born to Alberto and Sophie Kunz Bateman in Bern, ID on December 12, 1920. She married William Uremovich on September 12, 1953, in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. She worked for and retired from "Ma Bell". She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, son, Barry, and sisters June and Janyce. She is survived by daughter Lesli (Jeff) Hunter, siblings Ruth Beck, Duane (Joan) Bateman, Dawn (Earl) Brown, and Joyce (Bob) Burkinshaw. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jenni, Micah, Cherish, Barry and Jordan, and seven great-grandchildren. Words cannot express how much we love and will miss her sweet, loving, caring and gentle ways. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Butler 12th Ward chapel, 2695 E. 7000 So. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will be at the lake Hills Memorial Cemetery, 10055 So. State St., Sandy."
