Nathan Maxwell died February 10, at the home of his son, George N. Maxwell, in Lodi, following a long illness. Mr. Maxwell was in his eighty-second year and was born in Montour Falls and had lived in Lodi thirty-four years, where he operated the flour mill that was destroyed by fire a few years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Lodi and of Myrtle lodge F. and A.M. of Montour Falls. He is survived by one son, George N. Maxwell, of Lodi and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Cronk, of Hornell. The funeral was held from the home Monday and burial made in the cemetery in West Lodi.
