Chief Master Sergeant (Retired-USAF) Paul J. Green, of Cabot, Arkansas was guided to rest on July 7th, 2010. He rejoins his wife of 57 years Verda K. Green (deceased). He was a World War II Veteran and served his country honorably in several countries.
He is survived by his only son, Randy Green and his wife, Kay and granddaughter, Amy Huddleston, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and one brother, Darlus Cook of Hampton, Virginia; and also two best friends, Tommie Williams and Jeannie Fry of Cabot.
Paul ask to thank all his caring friends and caregivers, especially Crystal King, Barbara, Monique, Michael , Renee, JoAnne, Con Nee, Brittany, Judy, Nicole, Anne-Marie, and Nancy. He thought the night crew staff members who assisted him were awesome and deserved more recognition they usually got at Fox Ridge Assisted Living Center.
His parting words usually were “When the great scorer comes to write against you name, He will ask not if you won or lost, but how you played the game.” A final farewell “Achtung” to all!
The family will receive friends at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock on Thursday, July 8th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 9th, 9:30 a.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park adjacent to the funeral home.
