Hannah GOODWIN was born in about 1637/1638 in Hartford, Hartford Co., Connecticut, in the "Eastside of the river". This area is now in East Hartford part (East Hartford was carved from the Town of Hartford in 1783).
She married William PITKIN, the progenitor of all Pitkins in Connecticut. They had eight children:
