June Margaret Carlson, 86, of Cloquet, died on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in the Barnes Care Home in Esko. She suffered with complications due to Dementia and Alzheimer's for many years.

She was born on May 15, 1924, to James and Othelia (Eide) Saxhaug in Hibbing.

June was a graduate of Two Harbors High School and was employed as an office worker for A&E Supply for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard in 1999.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Sandwick of Roscoe, Ill.; her niece, Adele (Jon) Tanner of Roscoe; her nephew, James (Laura) Sandwick of Duluth; great nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Tony) Bundschuh, Angela (Tony) Weisz, Summer Allen, Ian Moe, Tracey Smith, Jon Paul Tanner and Toby Tanner.

Thank you to Barnes Care and Solway Serenity Acres for their special care where June was a resident.
