She was born on May 15, 1924, to James and Othelia (Eide) Saxhaug in Hibbing.
June was a graduate of Two Harbors High School and was employed as an office worker for A&E Supply for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard in 1999.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Sandwick of Roscoe, Ill.; her niece, Adele (Jon) Tanner of Roscoe; her nephew, James (Laura) Sandwick of Duluth; great nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Tony) Bundschuh, Angela (Tony) Weisz, Summer Allen, Ian Moe, Tracey Smith, Jon Paul Tanner and Toby Tanner.
