Judson Eure, 80, of 109 River Drive, Winton, NC, a former resident of Chesapeake, VA, and The Villages in Florida, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Mr. Eure was born in Hertford County on March 21, 1936, and was the son of the late Judson A. and Nettie Stallings Eure. Retired from Spivey Rentals, he was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, the Beechwood Country Club, and had served in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Turner Eure; a sister, Marion Bracy; and by a brother, Ray Eure.

Surviving are his brothers, N.J. Eure of Chesapeake and Curtis Eure of Colerain; and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville. Burial will follow in the Ahoskie Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Futrell and the Rev. Mike Blowe will officiate. Friends may join the family Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and other times at his residence.
