LaDonna Marie Wilkerson-Benson, 75, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Mercy Medical Center – North on Saturday, November 4, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A visitation will occur one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

LaDonna was born May 11, 1942 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Wesley and Amanda (Bean) Wilkerson.

LaDonna and Edward Benson were together for 37 years, until his death in 1999.

Growing up she attended the Salvation Army. LaDonna retired from Drives, Inc. after 40 years of service.

LaDonna enjoyed playing Euchre and other card games with family and friends. She also worked on puzzles, especially crossword puzzles. LaDonna looked forward to pizza and movie night with her great nephew, Cody Wilkerson. She loved her dogs Missy and Hank. But above all, she LOVED her family and friends and will be sadly missed.

LaDonna is survived by her two sons – Terry (Mary) Wilkerson of Bentonville, AR and Brian (Renee) Wilkerson of Rogers, AR; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters – Freda Hedrick, Marge Booth and Alberta Wilkerson all of Mason City, IA; three brothers - Loren (Mary) Wilkerson of Low Moor, IA, David (Jan) Wilkerson of Iowa City, IA and Charles (Mary) Wilkerson of Clinton, IA; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding LaDonna in death were her parents – Wesley and Amanda Wilkerson, her husband – Edward J. Benson, sisters – Camilla True and brothers – John E. Wilkerson and Wesley L. Wilkerson
