Hiram S. "Butler" Austin, 93, of Booneville died Monday, June 26, 2000, in a local hospital. He retired as a farmer and was a construction worker. He was the widower of Vesta Austin.
He is survived by two daughters, Ida Corbin of Havana and Betty Shott of Booneville; one stepson, Jimmy Bayless of Washington; five grandchildren, Jackie Corbin, Lynda Ford, Amanda Suttles and Doug and Dale Shott; and 10 great-grandchildren.
