Francis Lynwood Cayton, 82, passed away peacefully, November 1 in Mobile.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances of 43 years, mother-Olivette Cayton, sister Dorothy York and brothers John B Cayton Jr, Donald J. Cayton and Thomas O Cayton.

He is survived by his son Francis L Cayton Jr. (Frankie) and sister Shirley C McDonald and granddaughter Briana Hollinghead and many nieces and nephews. And a very good friend Helen T Phillips.

Lynwood graduated from McGill Toolen High School 1954. Retired as Sales Manager from Mobile Cigar and Tobacco Co, and also retired from Dees Paper Company of 36 years in 2017. He was an avid bowler and inducted in the State Bowlers Hall of Fame and a Co-founder of a Mystic Mobile Mardi Gras Association and a member for many years. He has left behind an army of friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all. Many thanks to brother in law - Max (Doug) Talbert.

Visitation will be Monday November 6, 2017 from 4;00pm-6;00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens 6300 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, at 11;00 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church McKenna Dr interment following in PineCrest Cemetery Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
