Genevieve Marie Golden "Baa", 89, of Gary passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. Survivors: 3 daughters, Corliss McKeever of Portland, OR., Robin Golden of Merrillville, Bridget Johnson of Kenosha, WI.; stepson, Jimmie Henderson of Atlanta, GA.; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Lula (Roosevelt) Bailey of Merrillville; special niece, Ujana Flanagan of East Chicago; special neighbor, Hattie Johnson of Gary; 2 special friends, Mattie Clark & Demmie Goodlow both of Gary and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Frank Golden; daughter, Donna Burgess and eleven sisters and brothers. Funeral Services will be held: Friday, November 3, 2017 11am at 20th Century Baptist Church 700 W. 11th Avenue Gary, Pastor Reginald L. Johnson, Sr., officiating. Interment: Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith. There will be no public visitation prior to the funeral service. Hinton & Williams Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Golden family during their time of loss.
