Albert Edward Barneson, 86, of Strum, died Saturday at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.

He was born on July 11, 1905, in the town of Pleasant Valley to Abraham and Anna Barneson.

He married Edna Behlke in 1928 in the town of Clear Creek, where they farmed for 62 years before retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Clear Creek Farm Bureau, Kneeland School Board, a trustee of St. Paul's and St. Peter's Lutheran Churches and a member of the Clear Creek Dartball League.

Survivors include his wife Edna of Strum: two sons Marvin (Ruth) of Strum and Harold (Donna) of Eau Claire: a daughter Dorothy (Eldor) Henning of Fall Creek: two brothers Fred (Helen) of Mondovi, Erwin (Gwen) of Eleva: two sisters Anna Roinstad of Eau Claire. Betty (Selmer) Olson of Strum: 14 grandchildren: 12 great grandchildren: nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church one mile east of Foster with Rev. Tim Moe officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in the town of Clear Creek.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fuller Funeral Home and an hour before services at the church.
