Daughter of Benjamin Lawrence and Sarah E. Brown Livers and sister of Joseph Thomas Livers, Alice Josephine Livers Gootee and Agnes Estella "Aggie" Livers Doyle. Both parents were born in Kentucky and married in Meade County, KY. The oldest child Joseph was born in Kentucky, but by 1864 the family was living in Indiana, 1870 at Perry Township, Martin County. 1880 the family was counted with Anna at Barr Township, Daviess County, and were back in Perry, Martin County by 1900, where the parents lived out their lives.
Anna married John A. Cunningham 10 Oct 1882 in Daviess County, Indiana. They set up housekeeping in the vacinity of St. Mary's, Barr, Daviess, IN for many years and raised 10 children here. They are: Ethel Agnes (Daily), Lawrence Joseph, Herman A., Ray Michael, Anne Aurelia (Padgett) listed in Anna's Obituary, Mary Bernadette - Sr. Gertrude Miriam, Eula M. - Sr. Mary Paschal, Alice F. (Paul), Louis Augustine and Maude A. (Brothers) (Cook). They were staunch Catholics and as you can see two of their daughters became Sisters of Providence.
By 1935 she and John had moved to Belvedere, Los Angeles County CA to be nearer to their adult children that had moved to the Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas.

Funeral services were held in Los Angeles yesterday for Mrs. Anna Mary Cunningham, mother of Mrs. B. A. Padgett, 2374 Lincoln drive, San Bernardino.
Mrs. Cunningham died last Thursday. The services were conducted at Our Lady of Lord's church in Los Angeles. Internment was made at Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Padgett, who had been in Los Angeles during her mother's last illness, and Mr. Padgett attended the funeral.
