Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lyle were held Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Fitzjohn's funeral chapel at Belding. Rev. L. W. Gibbs, pastor of the Ionia Free Methodist church, conducted the services. Mrs. Louise Hickok and Mrs. Carrie Rieger, of Belding, sang two numbers.
Mrs. Lyle leaves three daughters, Lois, at home, Mrs. Ivalena Whitney, of Lansing, and Mrs. Esther Dadd, of Ionia, four grandchildren and two brothers, Alden Heald of Grand Rapids and Percy Heald of Belding.
Relatives that acted as bearers were Henry Post, Eldon Post, Harvey Heald, William Heald, Homer Dow, and Herman Lyle. Mrs. Fitzjohn and Alden Post were in charge of the flowers. Interment at the family lot in the Orleans cemetery.
