He was a native of Corbin, Kentucky. Willie was a former letter carrier for the USPO. He was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Preceded in death by: Wife – Beverly McCoy Scalf; parents – Willie Sr. and Margie Scalf.
Survivors: three brothers – Elmer, Donnie and Nelson Scalf and sister – Mollie Stotts.
Visitation: 3 – 6 pm Thursday and 11 am – 1 pm Friday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes. Service: 1 pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment: Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions: First Assembly of God, Salem, Indiana.
