Capraro, Benita Ferrara 80, a former resident of River Forest and long time resident of Oak Brook, IL, died peacefully in her home, June 9, 2008, surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Capraro was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Serafina Ferrara. In 1947, she married William Alexander Capraro, who proceeded her in death in 2001. Always the epitome of style and grace, she was cherished in life and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving children, Florence (Vincent) Connelly, Judy (Leonard) Gingerella, Alexis (Paul) Colianni, and William Jr. (Tina); eight beloved grandchildren, Loren, Erin, Alexis, Paul IV, Benita, William III, Lea, and Victoria; her brother, Nello (Marilyn) Ferrara, sister Florence (Adam) Stillo, sister-in-law Marion Mattucci, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11th, from 3 to 9 p.m., at Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant Streets, Hinsdale, IL, 60521. Funeral Thursday, June 12th. Family and Friends will meet at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, North and Lathrop Avenues, River Forest, IL, 60305, at 10 a.m., for funeral mass. Private entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
