Fort Worth--Services for Earnest V. Alexander of Fort Worth, 85-year-old former Grayson County resident who died Saturday at All Saint’s Hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Normandale Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jimmy Owens of the church will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Holloway cemetery near Luella directed by Greenwood Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Mr. Alexander was born in Whitewright, a son of C.B. and Effie Hardcastle Alexander, and married Ruby Jewell Smith. He was a retired assembler for an aircraft manufacture ring company and member of Normandale Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mary Armstrong of Sherman, Joyce Cryer of Dallas, Hazel Tullis of Chula Vista, Calif. And Sue Works of Fort Worth; son, Charles Alexander of Grand Prairie; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
