Julietta "Judy" was born June 25, 1925 in Alma, Arkansas to John and Sarah Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John L. "Jack" Davenport and her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
She married Jack in Dumas, Texas June 25, 1947. They made their home there, moved to Pasadena, Texas and upon retirement moved back to Alma, Arkansas. They were active members of Newberry Chapel Methodist Church and Melody Chapter #579, Order of the Eastern Star. Upon Jack's passing, she moved to Oklahoma where she resided for 7 years.
Julietta is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Don) Henderson of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Carolyn (Bill) Boyce of Owasso, Oklahoma and Frances (Delbert) Hoefar of Crosby, Texas; her grandchildren, Mitch (Becky) Hoefar of Crosby, Texas, Allen Hoefar of Pasadena, Texas, Barry (Michelle) Henderson of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Kelly (Ed) Fetkovich of Owasso, Oklahoma and Kimberly Schirlls of Owasso, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Fort Smith National Cemetery at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 1, 2017 under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pastor Bob Jeffery of Newberry Chapel will officiate. The family will greet friends from 12:00 to 1:00pm Wednesday before the graveside service at Edwards Funeral Home.
