Paul Miller Carr, 73, of Fox died January 30, 2007 at Conway of melanoma. He was born June 3, 1933 in Orgas, West Virginia to Alma Bernard and Margaret (Blaylock) Carr. He was a retired math and physics teacher. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served many years as Branch President of Batesville, Mountain View, and Clinton Branches. Survivors include his wife, Charlene (Graham) Carr; two sons, Philip Carr and wife Renee, and Peter Carr; a daughter, Joan (Carr) Thomson; six grandchildren, Derek, Hunter, Weston, Madison and Graham Carr and Robert Thomson; five brothers, Rogers Carr and wife Vivian of Kerrville, Tex., Burl Carr and wife Joyce of Statesville, N.C., Darrell Carr and wife Ruth of Charlestown, W.Va., Tom Carr and wife Marti of Pensacola, Fla., David Carr and wife Teresa of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one sister, Kay (Carr) Edwards and husband Howard currently serving a church mission assignment in Wales; and one aunt, Nina (Blaylock) Ackerman and husband Lona of Mountain View. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Derek Paul Carr. Visitation is 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View (870) 269-3210. The funeral service is 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mountain View with Bro. Ken Slade officiating and Bro. John Sherwood, stake patriarch, speaking. Music by Joseph Beck and Lacey Turner. Burial was at Fox Cemetery. Pallbearers were Duaine Cowley, Larry Cowley, Doug Daniel, Derek Carr, Hunter Carr and Weston Carr.
