Stanley Albert Eddy, age 85, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Cedar Crest Health Care Center, Janesville. He was born March 1, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Albert and Edith Stiegmann Eddy. He grew up in the Afton area, graduating from Janesville High School in 1950. Stanley and Elizabeth Masters were married August 27, 1954 in Luther Valley Church. Stan served with the U.S. Army from May 1953 to November 1953. He farmed and worked at Fairbanks, Morse and Company, Beloit and WR Arthur, Janesville. He was an employee of U.S. Postal for 33½ years, serving as a clerk in Beloit, and retiring after serving as Postmaster in Afton. Stan was a longtime member of Luther Valley Church, Beloit, and the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, gardening, and attending various activities of his grandchildren. Burial in Town of Rock Cemetery. Newcomer-Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill, Orfordville.
