Mary Boatright, 54, of New Market, passed away at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mary was born June 29, 1963, the daughter of the late Jane Moore Decker and James R. Boatright of Poland, Indiana.

Mary graduated from Brazil High School in 1982 where she was active in many sports and student council. Mary served in the United States Army; both active and inactive until she became a Disabled Veteran. She spent more than 30 years in the Automotive Industry.

Mary loved the outdoors, spending time with friends, riding motorcycles, and attending and participating in car shows. She also played in many bands during the 70’s and 80’s as a drummer. She loved helping people in need. She was also a huge Green Bay Packer Fan.
She is survived by her BFF & partner, Lisa Henderson, whom she loved and adored. Lisa provided care for Mary during this illness the past 20 months. Mary loved and adored Lisa’s two boys, Nick and Nathan.

She is also survived by her father, James R. Boatright; step-mother Linda Boatright; step-sister, Trisha Hathorn Starks of Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her mother Jane Decker and step-brother Kevin Boatright.
Mary also is survived by two brothers she loved and adored, Jim Boatright and wife Diane of North Carolina, and Donald Boatright (Her Hero and Best Friend) of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews.

Mary loved sharing God’s Love and His Word, and was known by many as, MJ, Loving Life As A Wild Child Of God.
