Funeral services were held on Thursday morning with burial at the Mankin cemetery. Rev. Everhart of Kerens was in charge of the service.
Deceased was born in Louisiana on February 16, 1863, but had been a resident of this county for many years.
He is survived by four children: Ed and Ponder Carroll of Athens; Mrs. Eula Anders, Fort Worth and Mrs. Ola Huett of Kemp route 3.
