She was a native of Los Angeles and lived here eight years. She was a daughter of Elmer Scot and Mrs. Thora Paramore Igo of Escondido, Calif.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Church of Norfolk and chairman (1971-73) of is Christian Woman's Club.
Other survivors include four daughters, Misses Virginia A. Vail, Elizabeth L. Vail, Rebecca L. Vail, and Catharyna B. Vail of Norfolk, a sister, Mrs. Helen Igo Tabor of the Philippine Islands; and two brothers, James Igo of Escondido and V. Dale Igo of Miami.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Tabernacle Church of Norfolk by the Rev. Gene Garrick. Burial will be in the Lloyd Cemetery, New Paltz, N.Y.
The family will be at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, tonight from 7 to 9 for visitation. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Norfolk Christian Schools.
