J.Cad Holland Dead: J.Cad Holland died at the home of his sister in this city Sunday night, Dec.3,1922, at the age of 44 years, 8 months, and seven days, of tuberculosis. He had only recently returned from a trip for health seeking to Roswell, New Mexico. About midnight he called to his sister and stated that the end was near at hand, and would soon be relieved of his suffering, of which he was thankful, and the words were hardly uttered when his soul passed to its Maker. He was a native of St.Francis county and leaves a host of friends who with the sister, Mrs.Mattie Stone of this city and two brothers, J.C. of Whitmore, and W.H. of Wynne, who have our deepest sympathy. The remains were laid to rest in the Hughes cemetery Monday with services at the residence. Dec.5,1922 Forrest City Times Herald
