Surviving: wife, Nellie Young Holland, Rocky Mount; son and daughter-in-law, Billy D. and Dianna Holland, Rocky Mount; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley H. and David Messer, Asheville, N.C.; three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ellen Dillon, Rocky Mount; Mrs. Gladys McKinney, Mrs. Wanda Hulgin, and Mrs. Ina Gomery, all of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Russell Holley and Silas Holland, both of Rocky Mount; Charlie Holland, Glade Hill; Pete Holland, Saudi Arabia.
