She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was well loved and she loved well. Karlyne was active in all of her families' lives. She sat at many football, basketball, baseball and volleyball games. She was our greatest cheerleader. She taught us to embrace life by her example. The legacy she leaves us with, is love for God and love for each other. She served God, and served others. She was well known for her delicious meals and desserts. She fed many family members and our many friends. It was her way of showing her love. She will be missed, but we know she is with those who have gone before her.
Karlyne was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald Gene Kerr, sons, Mark and David Kerr, Father, Mother and little brother, Stanley Crook.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Craig and son-in-law Reggie, and Connie Strawhun and son-in-law Dale, 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, one sister, Nancy Crook Stewart and brother-in law Harry, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will miss her greatly.
The service will be officiated by long time family friend and Pastor Brother Roy Cloudt.
